Tonight at dinner we had to establish a new rule after Four shoved a pea up her nose so that she wouldn't have to eat it. Luckily, a few blows got it out. Believe it or not, that's a first. haha
My daughter shoved a whole noodle up her nose once when she was 3. Thankfully it was a tube noodle - rigatoni or penne - so she could still breathe. She did this right before we were headed out the door for a night out w/o kids. So we ended up taking her with us and even the urgent care doctor couldn't fish it out... it was too soft and too stuck. On the way home she sneezed pretty hard a couple of times in the car and the next day we found the noodle all over the back of the seat in front of where she sat. =) The stuff in the nose usually manages to find it's way out.
Oh we've had stuff up the nose too. My fav was my best friends little sister had plastic action figure and it's ear broke off and she shoved that up her nose. She kept trying to blow it out and everyone asked what was wrong? "I have an ear up my nose!" was her answer....
Gosh, Steph, I don't know what advice to give you about the church clothes thing. Alex hasn't given us a fight on that. He's given us a fight on lots of things, but that's not one of them. Maybe jeans is okay for a while, and then they'll start feeling out of place? I need to catch up reading your blog. Do you have a date yet?
