Sadness

My heart is hurting for the many people who are suffering loss due to the tragedy in Connecticut.  I cannot begin to imagine what they must be feeling.  It brings to my mind the suffering of so many that takes place each and every day and makes me want to be better, do better and do more to reach out to people.  It's a miracle, to me, as I think of the hosts of people praying together for the peace and comfort of complete strangers, reaching out to lift and assist, all of us united together in our shared concern for another.   I am so blessed by the examples of the families affected by this nightmare.  I am inspired by their focus on the beauty of the life of the loved one they lost, and not the tragedy itself.  My words are not adequate or eloquent but it felt wrong to not say anything.
